What ultimate role is the giant Myspace network playing in the continuing development of the new cyberculture?  (Answers: 3)  (Comments: 1)
 Computer Networking
What is the significance for the Blade Runner future of cyberculture? Myspace connects kids all over Planet Earth in a massive gathering of savvy cyberspace surfers, plus enough adults to collectively displace the entire population of the Benelux countries, the Hawaiian islands, the tallest mountains of Central America, and the Inuits of Antartica. Google is apparently run by a small group of scientologists located in a remote biosphere somewhere off the northern coast of France. Meanwhile I am waiting for my next girlfriend to comment my new web log entry. What do people think of the sexual revolution and the distribution ofa massive array of pornographic and other erotic materials internationally on the world wide web? When will I need to plug sensor electrodes to my head and watch films of the Nazi occupation of Poland while Coldplay albums are put on repeat play in the private auditorium and LSD-25 is dripped onto my tongue? How do I get more credits on Lava Life?

Mac vs. PC - On gaming
The Parallels people have put out some "Mac vs. PC" spoof ads to promote their virtualization software. I'm not sure I understand the sense in touting the ability to run Windows to sell a Mac. Opera is looking to the American Continent
Opera Software ASA is an emergent company with few offices on the world, as well as a tendency to Eurocentrism. At least, this is what I was thinking when I finally saw that Opera added an American flag to their "pantheon" . The original Pantheon was the temple of all the gods. Nevertheless, on the business world, where you read the word gods, replace for goods and market. A tip for Opera: make a gesture to Latin America; honestly, I am ...

Reddit.com is not a tech news site
Posted on July 5th, 2007 by Shannon Coolican I had heard about Wired s acquisition of reddit.com some while ago.  I came to reddit expecting another digg type site.  My assumptions of the site proved to be wrong.  Reddit is dominated by left wing US political discussion.  It is hardly a tech news site by any means.  I find this strange since Wired is largely devoted to Cyberculture.  There also seems to be a disorderly feel to the site.  Digg in comparison is much better organized.  So
