Everything else is about figuring out how, and you wonât do that sitting in front of a computer.7) If you have to ask where to get an agent, youâre not ready for one.6) Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare, Oswald killed JFK, and âThe Da Vinci Codeâ is rubbish. Get over it.5) Posting your poem/novel/story and asking what everybody else thinks is like taking 300 strangers shopping with you and asking them to pick out your clothes. Youâll get their taste, not yours. The only opinion that matters is your own; learn to trust it, or stop writing.
